After much “gentle persuasion”, my husband agreed to have a videographer at our wedding. Like me, he had experienced weddings where the videographer can be intrusive and cause guests [and the bride & groom] to feel uncomfortable. Gavin sent us our DVD last week and both of us are over the moon with how it has turned out. Watching it brought back everything about the day. Gavin has a very creative gift and has excelled in how he compiled the DVD. The editing and music is superb. I had figured it was going to be good (his reputation precedes him), but WOW!!!! We love it.
Right from the start, I was very happy with Dreamcatcher productions. Their approach from the outset was very friendly and helpful, yet thorough and professional. The initial form/ questionnaire that we filled in covered all bases so that there was a written record of requests and preferences regarding coverage, music, etc.

Gavin was an absolute joy to have with us on the day of the wedding. He came to my house to catch some of the preparations – he was very unobtrusive and caught some very nice “moments” on film. Everyone at our house felt completely at ease with him. At the church, Gavin got excellent footage of the ceremony and of when we arrived at the hotel. He really captured the essence of the day and of everyone there too. It is clear from the footage, that everyone was clearly comfortable with Gavin – no awkward smiles and waves at the camera. The video messages were also great to look back at. Gavin obviously just has a talent of looking at a situation and finding the important pieces and editing them beautifully together. We couldn’t be happier with our DVD.

We were unsure about having a Videographer at our wedding. My husband did not want a video in his face all day. But we decided we would be sorry if we didn’t have it in years to come. We are so happy now that we booked Gavin at Dreamcatcher Productions. The minute he arrived, I knew he would fit right in. He was so unobtrusive and professional and made us feel absolutely great. It was like having one of our friend’s make a video of our wedding. Everyone really liked him. He also put together a 10 minute video of the day that was shown at the reception. What was meant to be just a “time-filler” ended up being the hit of the wedding! Everyone enjoyed seeing a recap of the preparations & church & ceremony. It was a very unique touch. We received the finished video a few days ago and I have watched it about 5 times already. It is really well done and will be great to have for years to come. If you are in any doubt about booking a Videographer, then go with Gavin. You are sure to be impressed! Anyway it was great working with ya! And thanks for a fab video. Dreamcatcher Productions recently filmed our wedding and it looks absolutely fantastic. To anyone thinking of getting a video I would highly reccomend this company. Gavin is an absolute dream to deal with and very relaxed on the day. He's was so unobtrusive yet managed to capture moments that otherwise would have escaped us. We can not thank Gavin and Dreamcatcher Productions enough for our fantastic DVD. We are absolutely thrilled with the final piece. The edit, quality and execution really have produced a superb wedding DVD. We honestly didn’t think a wedding DVD could be this good!
Gavin was so discreet on the day we genuinely didn’t know he was even there. He’s a true professional; a magnificent guy to deal with and his after care is first class.
Now the DVD is in circulation among friends and relatives we have received huge amounts of compliments and amazing feedback.

Hi Gavin,
I know it has been almost a year but I just wanted to pass something onto you. When we got the DVD we were very pleased it was well put together and we enjoyed laughing at ourselves. Its funny how life takes over again and the wedding is forgotten for a while. A couple of weeks ago I managed finally to give a copy of the DVD to the parents of our fab flowergirls. They texted us to say they laughed and cried the whole way through. A week later their youngest was called to Crumlin for a serious heart operation (they knew it was coming but thought they had more time!). Anyway the op is over and she is recovering well, please God she will be home soon. I was delighted that they had watched the DVD recently and enjoyed it. So yesterday I took it out again and watched it with different eyes, not someone looking to see how they looked and sounded, but watching to see peoples faces, people laughing, crying and smiling. You caught everything perfectly!!!! I now appreciate it more and know that as the years pass it will mean more and more to us.Thank you for giving us something to cherish for ever. Keep up the good work.
